born & Raised
My name is Megan Orsi. I’m a mom, a wife, and an artist. for as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about design and creating beautiful things. I’ve been building websites since my early teen years, and still find great joy in watching a project come together. I’m really good at quoting friends, and nerding out about The X-files. I still listen to my favorite 90s rock band and in my free time, I drive my kiddos to endless sporting events. I’m a coffee enthusiast who’s always behind on laundry.

featured projects
Bear Co. Collective WEbsite – Freelance
Developed with WordPress and Elementor. This website was created for my photography company, Bear Co. Collective. Website is responsive/mobile-ready.
Pittsburgh Midwife website – Freelance
Developed with WordPress and Elementor. This client had a very specific theme in mind for her site. This design was first done in Photoshop, and then implemented in Elementor. Given the layered nature of the design, this was one of my more complicated builds in Elementor.
Moksha Website – Freelance
This site was previously built, and designed in WordPress with Elementor. The client was unhappy with its former look, and asked me to re-design it. I was able to reskin the current content for a much more on-brand and cohesive design.
quantumklinik.com – Freelance
Developed with WordPress and Elementor. This website was a complete re-do. I added design, and much-needed structure. Design was completed during the build, in Elementor (not separately in PS). Please note that edits have been made (by others) since my initial work was completed.

Steps I Take for Successful Projects
As a self-proclaimed technical artist, research is an important part of my process.
I don’t shy away from asking the important questions. I like to be well-informed when starting my projects.
Using the information gathered from my research, and client questioning, I begin my informed design.
Once a design has been approved, I begin the build process.

Sure, I’m a little sarcastic, and I’ll probably talk your ear off about The X-Files, or make a few obscure Friends references that no one will get. But I’m a hard worker, with an absolute passion for beautiful design. Let’s chat! Bonus points if you also enjoy 90s TV.
What can be imagined can be achieved, if you just dare to dream.

Too Long Didn’t Read
NAME: Megan Orsi
YEARS EXPERIENCE: 15+
SKILLS INCLUDE: Photoshop, HTML, CSS & more
I created this website for my photography company, Bear Co. Collective. This was my first attempt at a WordPress/Elementor build. I was so pleasantly surprised at how quickly the site came together.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION: 2019
This client had a very particular image in mind for the theme of her website. She wanted vintage, she wanted feminine, but not traditionally feminine, and she loves Pittsburgh! I worked on a Photoshop comp to gain her approval prior to build. Given the layers and textures used in her design, this was one of my more compilated Elementor builds.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION:
Summer 2021
This client’s website had been built and designed previously by another vendor. She was unhappy with the look, and asked me to redesign it for her. I was able to use the pages and content that already existed, and added a consistent, on-brand design that the client loves! The build and design were all done within WordPress and Elementor. Photoshop was only used for asset creation.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION:
Summer 2021
This project started off with a request for some content updates, but ended with a complete redesign from top to bottom, including asset creation, and content placement. This design was created and built within WordPress and Elementor. Photoshop was only used for asset creation.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION:
Early 2021
These comps were created in Photoshop for the Master’s Accelerated Program Microsite for Argosy University.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION: 2016
These comps were created for a more updated, user-friendly Area of Study filter for the Argosy University Website. The comps go through what the filter may appear like as the user makes selections (please note the “results” are not accurate). Design was created in Photoshop.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION: 2018
This design was to be added to all pertinent Argosy pages. The program was designed to award tuition reduction once a certain amount of credits had been earned. This design was created in Photoshop, but hand-coded in Visual Studio. I was able to create this completely in HTML and CSS – it was not only responsive, but fluidly responsive, and multi-browser compatible.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION: 2018
This was a microsite design for South University. In this particular project, I was able to develop a Photoshop Template for comps to be saved out with how it may appear on multiple devices. These designs were developed in Photoshop, and were hand-coded in Visual Studio to be fluid responsive, and multi-browser compatible.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF COMPLETION: 2016
This site was built entirely locally on my machine, with a product called LocalWP. This enabled me to install and run a local instance of WordPress and Elementor, so that we didn’t have to work live. There are still some aspects of this site that need to be provided (namely final copy and additional imagery) by the client before it can go live.
APPROXIMATE DATE OF (NEAR) COMPLETION:
Early 2021
This client’s website has been created inside WordPress by another vendor. She was unhappy with the design and layout of content. I was able to design, and restructure her content inside Elementor. Photoshop was only used for asset creation.
